354935108_af6e407fce_m I need your help. ;-)

UPDATE: Found it.  It was “Detour” by Rogue Amoeba.  Thing is, it’s been EOL’d and doesn’t work on Intel Macs.  Now, I do have two PowerMacs sitting here (G4 & G5).  Guess the Podcasting station is moving to them.

Thanks everyone for your DM’s, PM’s, and replies!

I need your help. ;-)

I have been racking my brain for several hours today trying to find the answer to this:

Does anyone know the name of the Mac application that lets you redirect sound output from an application to a different sound device? (NOT Audio Hijack!)

For example, with this app I can take the output of iTunes and redirect it to my Harmon Kardon speakers.

I can then take the sound output from Adium and redirect its output to my Logitech headphones.

And at the same time take the audio output from Quicktime and patch it through to the built-in speakers in the iMac.

Three different apps.

Three different sound outputs.

Bypassing the System Control Panel and the Sound Output settings in there.

I used to have this app at one point. It sat in the Menu Bar but this was back during Jaguar I think.

Any help would be most appreciated! ;-)

Thanks in advance!
